old fic - SGA, Lorne/Zelenka

I've been meaning to post something here forever, and I kept thinking "next time..." and then not.

With seasonal fic exchanges coming up, though, I sort of wanted to revisit a short-ish piece that I wrote for a prompt. I am not good at dropping into a scene and writing 1000-ish words of dialogue and action and emotion without a ton of exposition, so I usually end up with a glorified not!fic outline, or 10,000 words.

So, help me out, here! General concrit or reaction is great, and I'd also appreciate some suggestions of scenes I could have written to show the stuff that I ended up telling so I can get my brain pointed in the right direction.
